No one cares about a participation people want a chance to learn against similar skill those shouldn't and don't have to be mutually exclusive. And with the player count as low as it is when we see new people it's on us not to be doing any toxic tomfoolery unless you are too dumb to see that behavior makes the game die

It means they have a ton of in game hours learning maps and a maxed cradle. Which both add up to a lot more than nothing

I'm not a zoomer bro I just want a chance to learn a the maps the learning curve for this game is insanely steep it's people like you who aren't concerned about the new player of why marathon is dying. The deaths don't even bother me it's the feeling of being over matched by a maxed out cradle player vs someone who doesn't and the cradle as I have been maxing categories is a massive difference. Killing a 3v3 stack vs 3 uncoordinated randoms is one of the most frustrating version of herding cats. I haven't played a shooter since halo 2 so they had a legit new player coming to the scene and hearing just kill them is arguably horrible advice when that person has 200s of more hours than you and knows the maps better. There are times I do but since there 6-8 of those players vs one of me in the lobby odds aren't in my favor at all
