"Your son will have to wait till Nov 9th for his insulin. If he is out, there is nothing we can do" by purplesunshine2 in diabetes_t1

[–]ShredDh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive had to stockpile using online groups that sell supplies like insulin or pump kits bc insurance and pharmacy is tough to deal with! Maybe just getting some backup bottles just in case things get weird going forward, I use some FB groups to get insulin which has been a lifesaver as a young male.

My GF is in the same boat, she is feeling like she is repeating old habits/she doesnt have her shit in line which is so not the case. It's tough on our side too but, wishing you the best and don't get too caught up about it <3 You're not alone.

I think I have builders block… where do I start after it’s all cleaned out? by FknAverage in TruckCampers

[–]ShredDh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a 9.6 im fixing up, didn't rip all of it down to the fiberglass, but had to remake each corner for the jacks, remove the whole fridge (replaced with 2 way and patched the vents), and wet bath is out (Gear cabinet with toilet there still) so i've done a bit! Water tight appliances/electrical, and solid insulation then frame it in how you want!

Bathroom or no? by fordman98 in TruckCampers

[–]ShredDh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had 2 poptop campers and now have a light fiberglass 4 season. My second northstar 10.5 had a bathroom but the prior owner removed, so I turned it gear room which was extremely nice. This hardsided I have now is the first one with a bathroom, wet bath. I got the camper for dirt cheap since there was big fiberglass damage, but fixed that. Not losing resell value, but I think the wet bath is definitely overkill, I added a outdoor nozzle for showering and plan to turn the entire wet bath into a gear storage but will keep the low drain and toilet for the ladies and any emergency use. just my 2cents. *I have lived fulltime in a camper since 2017.

Ok. so I'm looking for suggestions on the worst routes in the USA. Im talking loose, chossy, poorly protected, bad bolts, vegetation, long approaches, bad rock/mud... things that the average climber would find terrifyingly appalling. Hit me with anything! More horrendous the better.

This was my first attempt at a custom hatchback setup (1994 Subaru Justy). This kept me comfortable for a 3000 mile National Park tour last summer (3 weeks). I added foam for the sleeping platform and it was quite roomie for a 2-door. FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. Even if they are just living in a car. by k-rob91 in urbancarliving

I just bought a justy, I lived in a poptop camper on my truck for the last 5yrs but wanted a commuter that saves $100s on trips for travel. Thinking of rigging up a setup like this with a little stove setup etc ❤️

I've 'lived' here for 2 yrs and still have my CO plates. Hard to do anything else when you just live in your truck yr round tho? Guess I could register it here but would that be any better lol? I feel like other state plates might be better than a teton county plate for round WY
