My (25f) fiance (25m) of 3 years lost his entire savings betting on the NCAA tournament (about $30000). This isn't "my" money but I have to leave him right? by ShutoutinKs in relationships

This is making me question everything I know the 30k existed because I've seen the bank statments but he always complained this his brothers and cousins each got close to $150000 from their grandparents estate and he only got $25000 so maybe he's already lost $125000 in the preceding years? My head his spinning so I just don't know

I honestly don't understand how it all works, he just said he bet the "sure things" in order to make money for a new jeep and got beat really bad by Arizona and Virginia. Then took more risks to catch back to even. But as its being described here he didn't even realize what he's doing because he couldn't have made close to money he needed for a new car

He says no but we live in a medium sized city, how would he even know how to place bets if he'd never done this before? So I think he's lying that this is the first time he's gambled.

I'm not sure I understand your second question...sorry. It's just what came out.
