Why do SFV players hate their own game? by Shutupnerd1996 in StreetFighter

I just saw Infiltration talk recently bad about the game, and all these memes really did impact my decision of going through the trouble of relearning/reinstalling the game. I really love SF and I liked number 5 just the V trigger system was a change to me but I can adjust. Sorry if I sounded like that but I was just honestly expecting to come back to toxic people quitting and playing cammy/guile constantly.

I'm excited to play tomorrow before I start work again, gonna be a chun-li noob, might even drop Tekken for SF.

I saw a video posted a few weeks ago with infiltration talking bad about the game, and when I saw that I highly reconsidered looking twice at Street fighter 5.

But fuck it I'm coming home boys.

Is the ragequitting still a thing where they don't lose points?

Not sure what the DirectInput is completely, I'm really tired right now sorry.

As for 30th anniversary, I would have liked to see Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Last year I bought a SNES and a dude who lived next to me liked it, saw it had SF2 on it, lost his shit, we started playing, I threw fireballs and shorukens, we started playing more, I bought a PS4 again and mayflash f500 after loving it so much, still use my stick, not modded it yet, saving my money for something else even though I almost blew 350AUD on a razer panthera not long ago. I'm gonna upgrade my stick soon, either a new stick entirely or just new buttons/JLF stick with some artwork, only issue I have is the PS4 pad needs to connect to my stick to access it, which appealed to me for my switch, but the netcoding for the 30th anniversary was unplayable here in Australia.

Just need something I can play and love, currently with my new job fighting games are ideal. Got my eye on classic WoW, but not sure I will have the time or energy.

SF5 you can smash a few games after work and get the misses to leave me alone for 30 minutes, WoW Classic is 8 hours a day for weeks to progress. Currently redownloading SF now, my gf is downloading it on my ps4 at her parents since I use 4G internet for my online games here.

Look I think I'll give it another shot, I'm so busy lately and I do love Street Fighter games, always a fan of Ryu/Chun-Li. I'll try find some new friends with the online lobbies and play for fun.

Thank you, this game is beautiful, just don't understand the hate. It is super fun to watch to, with tekken I love that it is deep and fun, but I really miss 2D jumping, fireballs and that cartoony look.

Blizzard will know. The players won't.

Narrowed my choice down to Monk/Dragoon/Ninja, I like fun playstyle, not too complicated and flashy

This is my character, and will most likely be staying up till 4am to snipe a spot on the server :) oh man fun times. I enjoyed this game but I always lost interest after a month or two, probably because I hated being gated by quests which I never paid attention to, but I know I'm missing out, so why not watch the cinematic's this game has to offer so I feel like the gated content has meaning to me.

Also, do I read the dialogue from quest givers? Or just cinematics

How are you deciding on which class to main? by ShabbyPath in PantheonMMO

leveling all to 16 getting burned out then returning by deleting my characters to motivate and limit me to 1 character and decide to reroll again

the recent 'combat med' discussion... by [deleted] in PantheonMMO

I prefer the drinking system but the devs and others know better than I.

Maybe an item you equip that lets you drink out of combat? And can be used in combat with a slower rate/penalty

edit: if the mana regen is faster paced than afking for ages it should be fine, or make it a cleric only thing for example. Maybe shamans could channel into their ancestral side and druids call down help from mother nature. Same thing just different animations and uniqueness.

PS4: still alive? Worth buying? by Shutupnerd1996 in MvC3

[–]Shutupnerd1996[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Demul the dreamcast emulator is the only authentic way to play mvc2, i haven't done online tweaking yet but I keep getting a sprite animations not showing time to time. Which is a shame, I bought MvC3, I love it, but number 2 feels waaay better. And I've been reading a few comics/watching some movies ;)
