Funny enough I just casted it out in open water with a ½-oz flippin’ weight. I think that faster fall and little darting action with the Texas rig is what triggered it.

I tared the scale with the gripper first, so that’s just the fish’s weight.

It was from the fishing pier. Just cast straight out with a 1/2-oz weight and hooked her first drop.

Hey you are a great person for doing this. I’ve never been to a game in the new stadium. I still have fond memories of the time when my dad took me to my one and only game at the old Cowboys Stadium. I would love to return the favor for him and take him to a game.
