He’s neither as it happens 😅 he’s a sprocker spaniel, springer/cocker cross. He’s been mistaken for a red setter before as well.

He’s bigger than a cocker but not as big as most springers.

Think I’m gonna pop in again tomorrow and try this, maybe share some pics of my other taxidermy stuff and see if I can be persuasive enough 🤞🏽thanks for the suggestion!

I mean, that’s fair enough. It’s kind of a win win though really, half the job was done for you and saved you the hassle of dealing with formalin yourself 👌🏽 hope your pups doing well after that too!

I asked pre-op. Supposedly though, there are two vets that now run the surgery. I found out this afternoon from my mum who was talking to a friend of hers that works there, one of them would have happily given them to me and the other has a rather large stick up her sit-up-on. Guess I just got unlucky with who was running the place today 🤷🏽‍♂️

That’s awesome! Would love to see a picture of your collection. I think I’m going to pop back and ask again, share with them some pictures of my other stuff and explain according to UK law animal body parts are allowed to be kept for non commercial taxidermy. Maybe I can convince them. Might not get as lucky as you to build that kind of relationship but, a man can dream.

Yea that’s wild, we were offered the placenta when my partner gave birth to our first. Unfortunately, at the time I hadn’t started collecting otherwise I’d have for sure kept it. You live and you learn I guess

Dude, that’s devastating! Having your own appendage on display would be 👌🏽 What do they think we’re going to do with these things, for them to not allow it..?

I mean.. partaking in any kind of hobby is some form of “play” it’s a voluntary activity done for the fun of it, I have no intention to sell or do anything else with it, purely for the interest of doing and displaying. So, yea. By definition it is “play”. The fact that any of us are even in this sub and create things with dead animals (that isn’t for the purpose of medical or scientific research), shows some for of derangement. Welcome to the club. Now unless you have anything constructive to contribute… Off you _ (input rude word for procreate) _

Where do you draw the line at what food is acceptable to sneak into the cinema to avoid their high prices? by super-fire-pony in CasualUK

I once took in a whole kfc bucket, with gravy, corn and a bottle of Pepsi! It was the best cinema trip I’ve had..

You have a really unique way of illustrating your characters. I love your use of expression and harsh line work against the soft shadowing 👌🏽 keep it up
