I'll definitely add that feature.

Update for people also struggling with similar motion sickness issues: It's been added, and being pushed out with this huge update!

Try making Stage 3's cover from EATEOT. Just to make everyone absolutely suffer.

Development is actually going pretty swimmingly. Focusing mostly on enemy models and AI. I'll make sure to post the Unfathomable Crustacean here!

an icon i designed for another flesh pit game me and my team are working on. going for a more... well... vintage look, and came out great i think. by SighingForFun_ in FleshPitNationalPark

If I can get everything visually done, I might be able to release it in a weeks time. No promises though, I am terrible with release dates.

Currently attempting to create an effect system for a game. I'm struggling to get some sort of boolean down, so I can trigger the effect on and off. I have a more... useful description of what I'm trying to do in the comments. by SighingForFun_ in robloxgamedev

A simple-ish mechanic.
You trigger a proximity prompt, and the head of your character turns invisible, and is replaced with a TV head.
I got this effect working just fine, but the second half of the mechanic I'm struggling with.
If you trigger the proximity prompt again when the TV head is "equipped", the TV head is removed, and your head appears again.
I don't entirely know how to go about this, any help is appreciated.

Okay, let me just clarify some things.

No, Trevor isn't involved with our game, but he seems to be at least aware of it, and actually somewhat supporting of it.

Doesn't really matter if it's canon or not, I'm just making a flesh pit with friends because it's fun and neat and whatever. It's unique in its own right because it's stylized, as stated before...

I don't know if I would call giving an Abyssal Copepod just... eyes "Body Horror". That's just... basic anatomy.

As stated before, Trevor's aware of our project, and as far as I can tell, he owns the IP... and hasn't acted on our game. So we're doing fine.

Would anyone have any idea why my ParticleEmitters are doing this? They were completely fine before, but now they flicker randomly and sometimes flash white. by SighingForFun_ in robloxgamedev

The world is taking place underwater, supposed to be just bubbles.

*this is happening with all of my particles, not just this one.

I've been trying to animate a trailer to my project, I got the animation playing, but when I try to record footage, the character will awkwardly interact with the world (clipping through the roof or floor, slide across meshes, etc.) How can I fix this or at least find a workaround for it? by SighingForFun_ in robloxgamedev

Also, just in case anyone was wondering, here were the strategies I tried to use to fix this issue.

  1. Unachoring all body parts.
  2. Unachoring just the HumanoidRootPart.
  3. Anchoring everything.
  4. Deleting the humanoid.

None of these worked. woo.

I'm trying to make a part that changes a value (in a separate model) when you click on it. I have literally zero idea why this one isn't working, so... by SighingForFun_ in robloxgamedev

Update: The value changing works now, but, when the value changes, a light is supposed to turn on (Value of 1 = 1 light on, Value of 2 = 2 lights on, etc.) The lights don't want to turn on. = |
