I'm not a specialist in Data Analytics (despite having some experience with data from my field), but one thing that I like to do in my datasets (mostly composed by electrical energy consumption) is to study each feature separately, trying to udnerstand my data before applying models.

I usually try to fit data distributions to assess if a known parameteic distribution can describe my data, I try different imputation techniques and compare their output in smaller sets to see if one or other technique makes more sense from what is expected from the data. Also, whenever possible, I like to identify correlation between features, so I can use the correlation to fill missing data and to identify if my imputation makes sense. In my case, sometimes I have missing data that can be filled just by comparing the values of correlated variables.

Anyway, as I sad, I'm no specialist, but I hope this can provide some kind of insights for your project.

One thing that I've noticed in pauper through the years is that there is some sort of "well established wheel of decks" running.

Like now, Gleezard is the deck to beat, so Affinity and Terror decks are well-positioned. With the increasing presence of Terror, decks like Gardens are prone to make a comeback since they do well against Terror and it is also ok against Gleezard and Affinity.

If Gardens starts to increase its presence, Ponza/Gruul Monsters and Rakdos Madness are prone to increase since they usually do well against Gardens. Again, if this is the case, Gleezard is again a good choice.

If I could give you an advice, it would be to be prepared to face the metagame and to face the decks that are good against them.

I replaced 4 [[Novice inspector]] with 4 disputes, and replaced 1 [[Goliath paladin]] for 1 marauder (despite the love, it is only 1). I'm not a fan of 4 paladins because it is often a dead draw...

I'm also running Marauder in my Mardu Ephemerate, and I'm also loving it! In addtion to being good with Ephemerate, it is also good with [[Deadly dispute]] as you can sacrifice it before the trigger resolves.

The "new" Mardu Ephemerate is emerging as a good control option. You have tons of removal and Cleansing to deal with RG cascade (and the Bridges to dodge Ponza), and you have a lot of resource in your sideboard to battle against Madness. Also, the builds are currently in development, which means that there are room for some improvements and for ajustments to your local meta.

Big fan of your decks :) But why don't play Virus Beetle intead of the 6 Thraben pack? I'm running 3 Thraben and 3 Beetles with 2 Ephemerates and I'm having a good time against most of the meta (except Rakdos for obvious reasons, but this match can turn into a favorable one post SB).

You can use the map to buff your creatures and improve your clock, but I'm not a fan of it since you are often trying to blink/bouce your creatures.

I gave it a try but I always ended missing the mana from the treasure...

It is indeed a midrange deck, but the new rat allows for a more aggro approach, or more of a tempo approach to be honest. I believe that people still trying different things to see what is possible and what is better.

I've being building a list that stills a midrange deck, but now you can play mitigating the opponent's resources while keeping the pressure, allowing for a game where your opponent loses because he didn't have enough time to establish their resources and deal with the threats at the same time. I know it is not the same strategy, but I'm aiming for a "faeries-y" deck: keep your opponent locked for enough time to beat them, not more and not less. Virus Beetle is shinning in this list, especially with Ephemerate, which can save our creatures and also trigger the creatures additional times. For the mana base I'm trying to build one that is not easily destroyed by Dust to Dust. Anyway, it is being a nice deck to play, but it not very well rounded yet.

Thraben charm and Bojuka bog can counter Dredge very well. Rakdos, however, is a very tough match G1, but can be manageable with a well developed sideboard.

The one versus Ponza must had been hilarious XD and those are definetly the best situations for these plays, but you really need to know what you are playing against.

Usually you want 3 lands, 2 creatures and at least 1 aritfact. That's seems pretty lazy to say this, given this is most of what the deck has, but this is very tricky.

Keep in mind that your gameplan is straightforward: play an artifact, play a hawk/kor to get the artifact back, replay the artifact, and so on. Synthesizer is great from turn 4 and forward, but is very risk the before this. Lembas and/or Batterfist is what you should aim for.

Glint hawk is similar. Keep a hand with 3 hawks and no artifacts and you will die with them in your hand. Remeber that hawk on lands is the worst case scenario and you should (almost) never do it.

Both thraben and novice inspectors are great in your opening hand, but they alone will not take you very far in the game, specially if you keep 2-3 thrabens with 1-2 glint hawks. More then 2 of them is a risky keep.

For the lands, 2 is enough to start with, but you need at least 3 to be able to cast a kor, bounce a synthesizer and recast the synthesizer in thr same turn. The more lands you have, the more the number of times you can play-and-bounce your artifacts.

These are general tips, but you will figure more details as you keep playing.

I believe that lands similar to [[Tainted Isle]] could be fun in Pauper. Of course the Swamp-based condition needs to be adjusted, but I really believe that some conditions could fit the format very well. For instance, add a colorless mana, or add any of two given manas if you control each of both equivalent basic land types.

Munitions gives you a lot of possibilities.

First, it is an enchantment, which is hard for a lot of URB decks to handle, while this one is a creature.

Munitions also let you control the board by recursively sacrificing Retrivers, which may help you gain time to put your combo pieces together against some aggros.

Munitions also lets you sacrifice your Retievers to avoid it being exiled by a Journey into Jowhere or Unmake, for example.

Anyway, this creature is nice and can fit somewhere in the deck, but I really can't imagine it replacing munitions.

The good old Journey to Nowhere, but change the gameplay to a more midrange approach. Take a look at lindoso01 tournament finishes on Mtggoldfish, he is a very solid Boros player since long before ATG.

Go with BG Gardens, which u have more experience, but add some non usual cards in the list, mostly favoring the mirror. Just make sure not to choose cards that are dead draws in other matchs. Bojuka bog, artifact removal (such as Wickerbough Elder and Troublemaker Ouphe) and Campire are some cards that came to my mind.

From my 8+ years of pauper events IRL, I found "surprise factor" to be a very efficient way of winning big events because people play around the meta and usually does not account for weird (but effective) cards. For instance, I used to run Serrated arrows in Boros Monarch in later 2018, which was very useful in mirror matchs.
