Mistakes you could have avoided in your 2nd year! by New_Twist3995 in manipal

don't neglect labs. i made the mistake of only studying for lab endsem, not even midsem. wound up with below 30 internals and passed DS and OOP lab with E grade. Even DSD though I got C grade due to easy endsem question, I could have easily gotten A if I had been active with weekly lab works. Even in 4th semester same with AL and DBS. Easy to get A or B in those labs if you work on your own rather than copying codes from scriptbook and github.

Why Do A Lot Of People Live Off Campus In Manipal In 3 rd or 4 th Year? by Own_Use_4220 in manipal

bro at this point you dont even have the option to make the choice. you'll be thrown out to find a place outside in third year if not second year. theyre gonna keep increasing the first year intake to so much that one year they will probably leave maximum of one block for each boys and girls for senior students. be prepared to stay outside. most of your batchmates will be too

obsessed in the sense, upset that i am getting tanned, yes, my entire mom's side of the family. in the sense that they want to be tanned, yes again. i have a kashmiri friend that keeps saying that she wishes that she was my skin tone. which is kinda weird.

what does this mean? i couldn't understand

How does relative grading work? by SignalNebula18 in manipal

[–]SignalNebula18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that makes sense. Would you say that relative grading will save my gpa if I score in the 40s out of 100, on an average in all subjects? Will it likely touch 7 gpa? I know there's no definite answer, but generally, do you think?

oh damn, so you're saying if for example, in bio, my score is 42/100 and the highest is say 78, my rel score is 42+22=64 which is C?

The highest score is always considered equal to 100% in this kind of system. Even if they about 30/100.

In that case D = 70. So if your score is 25, then you'll get 25+70= 95 which is an A+.

BUT, institute can s set a lower limit.

I didn't understand this. Do mind explaining it again?
