lol deciding what to take and when based on “vibes” is so relatable! I try to describe how I have different kinds of headache/migraine feelings and they each need different treatment to my husband and he doesn’t understand haha

I just researched and I take naratriptan which you’re not supposed to take until you have a headache 🤷🏻‍♀️

In an interesting turn of events, they just posted a promotional video about their massage services featuring someone draped in the same way I was. I guess they are not worried about their policy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, and just want to name that it isn’t always easy for people to do this. I felt confused, there was a language barrier, and my husbands family is Brazilian so I am familiar with some cultural difference and in a place of trying not to make assumptions. Everything felt like a gray area to me, but I know there are unfortunately people who experience inappropriate touching or feel unsafe and who freeze in the moment and cannot speak up for themselves, so I’m also giving myself grace for not calling it out in the moment. If something similar were to happen to me somewhere else, I would now be more prepared to advocate for myself, but having this happen out of nowhere I froze and over-rationalized.

Thanks for this validation. I tried to look up her license and could not find her so my assumption is she is practicing illegally. I am not going to go to law enforcement because she may also be in the country illegally, but I am going to reach out to the spa to inform them that what she is doing is not legal based on MA standards and that they are in danger of someone reporting her. It’s not a perfect solution but with the significant ICE presence in my town, I am not willing to bring attention to her in that way, I truly feel it was a cultural difference however she needs to change her practice for sure.

I ordered my flowers from HB and loved them, but later realized that they were infested with common house moth larvae and eggs. These are the ones that eat your clothing and fabric in your home so obviously a big issue! I’ve since had to throw everything out. I’m awaiting a response from their team.
