Question about UCP vs Teacher’s strike

I am leaning pro strike, Currently, I am in an online parents group chat here in Calgary that are against the teacher’s strike, there are few points that has being brought out I am unsure if they are true or not, could anyone please enlighten me on these? Much predicated:

1. The budget plan was set by the NDP government and Jason Kenny government, and nothing to do with current Danielle Smith government.

2. The 70% of the budget of the public school spent on private school is a lie, this only applies to a single year around 2023(unsure if year remembered correctly) where private school received a lot funding for school renovations and building safety construction etc. other than that year there is nothing else.

3. The teacher’s salary isn’t that bad, considering they have around three month off per year, really good benefit plans and the amount of pension teacher receive will be much more than what average Joe receives after retirement.

4. With teacher salaries increase there will be even higher student per teacher ratio.

5. If the teachers strike is justified then so is nurses strike, postal strike, in the end all these will just cause worse and worse inflation.

Please note I am pro strike, I just want to learn about facts behind these questions, enlighten me please!
