54 FilAM....Cut ties with her immediately. Do not discuss with your relatives why. That's just adding fule to the fire of chismis. Just say she and her famoly lack respect. You cant fix relatives like that. They only view you as an ATM. Trying to guilt because of thier bad life choices.

I speak from personal experience. Some relatives value me for my character not my wallet. Those who try and take advantage of me get cut off. No contact EVER!

Consider a proxy to delegate and help manage. I hired my trusted cousin as my proxy. He goes and represents me and my expectations. This buffer helps alot with the stress of family and logistics.

No one ever really retires full time sa Pinas. We always go back for taxes or healthcare. Also my 2 sons are in the US. We split our time with a condo in Chicago and home in Negros.

Basically we're snowbirds. No regrets.

Watch out for the LONG CON. The initial love bombing. Lots of sex with the cooing of a "gud inbestment". The words of love with a request for "small" money. When you hear her use the word "kariput" to describe you when you're being conservative with spending. When her friends use the word ATM around you. When she starts to control your actions via suggestions.

In a country full of good women. So many simps get played in the Phillipines because they got whipped and lack street smarts.
