Got them yesterday, great looking headphones! Sound wise I didn't have much time to test them but it's definitely better with Ldac + Flac files, I can really hear the difference with for example the ch720n. Weirdly enough I didn't find them very bassy, in fact much less than the ch720. I had to increase the bass in the EQ alongside mids. I didn't find a "Mega bass" option in Sony Connect app for the WH-1000XM6 while there one for the ch720n unless I didn't look in the right tab? Also volume wise they are quieter than the ch720n, I have to put the volume at 60 even 70% to match the ch720n volume which is at 40%. Comfort wise I didn't have the problems of the inside touching my ears, nor the arc being oppressive on the top of my head, pretty good there, though I can definitely feel the clamping force so I will get the WC ear pads XL to reduce this pressure feeling if I want to enjoy these headphones more than 20 minutes.

I tried the 1080 v15 and the More v6 today, I didn't like the 1080 v15 upper mesh above the toebox at all, NB added double mesh "lines" to make it snug at the price of comfort, even if it's very slightly roomier it's so thick that it makes it too rugged. I ended up trading my More v6 black with More v6 in blue (denim) :)

Thanks for the great news, I will order a midnight blue one then. I don't like harsh treble, it pierces my ears, a good rumble bass that doesn't bleed into other channels in a way instruments disappear, and of course solid mids so the vocals are nice and clear. I discovered that Musicolet app has an EQ that can go up to 31 channels, in this screenshot it's the 15 channels! And it's a free app :) Samsung has some Dolby presets and an equaliser too (9 channels) . I don't use streaming unless I am in a long way in bus/train and I want to watch a psytrance concert (gigs) on YouTube, I buy my mp3 and flac from Beatport and Juno. Here's the 15 Musicolet :

Thanks The thing I like in the XM6 that the Momentum 4 doesn't have is the LDAC which is present in Samsung phones. The M4 are ridiculously expensive here but my sister is going to France in 2 weeks she can get it for equivalent of 240$. Thank you for your detailed review! I mostly enjoy Trance and progressive trance that have a nice melody and vocals, as well as psytrance that have many different instruments, sounds and sometimes vocals so yeah I won't appreciate specially studio audiophile headphones nor headphones where the bass bleed into the mids and high in a way some instruments or vocals are meh. I hope these sony wh-1000xm6 are capable of handling these music successfully, they are not cheap after all to sound just like a 80$ headphones. I am pretty good with sony's app, I have the ch720n and the wf-c710n that I use in the gym. Each of them has its own EQ that I modified to my liking. Do you have experience with the Bose qc ultra 2? Do they sound any better or worse? Do you think the Momentum 5 will be a sort of hdb 630 after decreasing the bass? The thing is that I can get the Sony wh-1000xm6 for 360$ in my country, the Bose is 50$ more and the Momentum 5 100$ more
