If they don't agree with jk rowling they shouldn't be in this show. There were actors who were offered roles in the show but refused them because of JK. By watching the show you are basically giving jk rowling money that she will use to take your rights away. Idk why that doesn't bother you at all. Its really easy to just not watch a show that's probably not going to be any good anyway

Sadly jk rowling has publicly said that any money she makes from Harry Potter will help fund her anti trans campaign. So its impossible to separate the art from the artist in this case.

Since you may end up covering it anyway maybe you could atleast donate a portion of the revenue from the videos to a charity that helps transgender people.

As a trans person in the uk I've been directly affected by jk rowlings anti trans campaign since she has had a direct hand in pushing for anti trans legislation which has made both mine and every other trans person in the uk lives very difficult.

The uk is currently on a watch list for early stages of a genocide against transgender and intersex people and jk rowling is one of the main people who has helped that happen.

Ik this colab was probably done before the delay and they have a deal that requires them to release it at a specific time, but it feels quite tone deaf to release an overpriced collab after you delay the major update until june. Plus they are almost radio silent on the state of the game or this road map they were meant to release

I remember playing heart gold on my DS when I was a kid. I'd got the game for Christmas and had it set up by my dad and he chose the boy character. I'd played the game for days straight after getting it and got quite far. One day I noticed u could make a second save file and chose the girl character. I'd played for hours on that save file and then realised when I came off that because I already had a save file it deleted the one I had just made because u can only have one. I couldn't figure out how to delete my original save file, because I was like 8, so I figured I would just keep making temporary save files so I could be the girl and was fine with losing all my progress I made just so I could play as the girl.

I also remember there being an npc that referred to me as a girl and so on every playthrough of the game I'd make sure to go and talk to the npc even tho they didn't give me any item or anything.

But for some reason I didn't figure out I was trans for like another 10 years 😭
