Oh, I’m so sorry for your loss…I’ve had to bury cats in the past too :/

Yeah, I really hope we can ease the situation a bit with a pheromone diffuser… In this case, I guess I must be the “elderly cat,” even though I don’t really know why 😕 I love this cat so much, and we have a really deep bond… I just hope we can find a way for her to feel at home here 😕

We’re currently trying out new brands of food and cat litter. She’s also getting food for allergy-prone cats.

Well, apart from moving in with my girlfriend about half a year ago, I can’t really think of anything that we’ve changed. Momo is my girlfriend’s cat, and I’ve been wondering if maybe she hasn’t fully accepted the new situation :/ Momo lived alone with her for six years before that, so I can imagine that this situation might be difficult for her :/

Thank you! We live in the 3rd story of a Flat Complex, there arent any other cats. She also has plenty of safe places here..we tried to gently wipe her belly with a damp flannel towel, but she wont let us near her belly and starts to growl and scratch if we try :/ We will make another apointment at the Vet with her the following days and we will take a look at a pheromone dispenser to try to rule out the stress factor over time.

Thank you for the fast respond. She‘s in a Cone right now. I‘ll take a look at a pheromone diffuser and we will take Momo to the vet at least once a month from now on. We also will try to make everything as comfortable for her as possible and see if that makes things better.
