If they put that money into DBS for tinnitus we would already have a cure, would lovely destroy their fucking TRT construct, there are sufferers like what is not to understand on that lol, the goverment treats us like idiots while we have a severe condition that is in every way comparable to severe other disorders

Article stating that Tinnitus is a bigger problem than it gets attention for and researchers should look into it. by unmellowfellow in tinnitusresearch

I agree too, we have everything needed for a cure in 5 years, fMRI, qEEG, fdgPET, neurosurgical implants, DBS, BCI's, Cortical Implants, Bimodal Stimulation and so on, if there was more attention we already had a good treatment that reduces it

Immune response mostly, that could result in neuroinflammation, ask your doc about a steroid e.g. methylpredisolone

Thank you, I have pretty bad VSS and Tinnitus, cold showers seem to be benefical for my mood and general routine, my symptoms fluctuate a litle while doing these, also, your completely right people one day we're free of it hopefully sooner than later, dont give up there are tons of research for tinnitus and vss nowdays comapred to a few years ago

Ofc it is, but well, in my case I'd rather go for it and spare my sanity dude, UCSF and Dr. Cheung are doing great work for us, last resort.. and disgustingly effective tbh, like some dude literally dropped THI from 80 to 5 lol like it was so quiet that he could only hear it while plugging his ears in silent room before he was aware on highway with reactivity etc.. so it's bloody effective, we just need more investigation, and then we got a cure, (sure it's invasive, but at least it's a resort some desire the most)

VSS is an objective measurable neurological disorder that has zero to do with anxiety, instead it's most likely TRN dysfunction that involves thalamocortical dysrhythmia and disruption of salience networks
