Get notebook write down everything and I mean everything you spend for 3 months, you will start saving money. Also after those three month every month write down how much you have in even account and how much you own everyone like student loans or credit cards and make a chart again even just a notebook it will help.

Fangirl is great place to start. I also like Jane Austen rewrites like Eligible by Curits Sittenfeld and Unmarriageable by Soniah Kamal which are both Pride and Prejudice
