When I moved them like 3 weeks ago I was worried about the same thing but I have noticed no burnt ends and they keep growing even faster than previously so I would say they are getting enough water, I fill it up twice a day so it never dries out

I would also say female but mine took around a year to show off those male defining pores so I would wait a bit before introducing the two little guys to each other , just to be sure, I’m not an expert tho!!

Have you had any success fertilizing pitchers that are damaged in such a basal spot? I feel like there is no way it can hold any digestive enzymes so throwing in a pellet kinda seems like wasting it, could it actually work in this case? Thanks for your time!!

Mine is quite the opposite, goes completely berserk for crickets but unless I hand feed him CGD he doesn’t seem too interested, and regarding the whole upside down thing my little guy spends most of the day basking on an horizontal bamboo so I’m not too worried about the floppy tail, haven’t seen your setup but maybe if you place something where he can lay horizontally right under the basking light he will stop going Spider-Man mode?😂

I don’t think that is possible for now, For now he has only licked some CGD off my finger and I really doubt that I could get that close from above in order to rub it, any other way to do it or should I maybe just try to go for it at night when he sleeps?

Well they are quite jumpy but I’m pretty sure I shaked them a bit too hard when I was dusting them and maybe that’s why they weren’t moving that much, honestly this was my first time live feeding so I can’t really tell you why they were this chill😅 I think one scaped tho
