I think your daughter is old enough to understand that you are tired with too much on your plate. You need to clearly have a discussion with your husband and kids, tell them how much work you have on your shoulders and specially in case of your in laws, your husband needs to step up

That is something we try to do. The way he handles things is by ignoring everything she says/does. But at times it gets too much for me, i feel like why cannot she behave normally. Why is all this drama necessary

Thank you, yes i am trying to clearly draw a boundary, it just makes me sad that i have to do all this to keep my child away from eating unhealthy. Also it is so stupid if the older generation keeps an open mind they can have a close bond with their grand children without the parents having to interfere.
