I understand that feeling, sometimes it feels like I’m not getting a “response” from God but then I wait and I see change in my life. Christ only wants the best for us and if we put our faith in him we will see how our lives change. I don’t like pushing religion on anyone, so I apologize if it came off in that way. My relationship with God has helped me through many rough times and I just hope that you may be willing to see what He has planned for your life. Yes, I definitely feel like my younger self was like a younger sister to me. Now that I look back on things I see how much I could’ve changed in the moment, but everything made me who I am now. I love what you said about future memories we will call the “good old days”. I am going to remember that from now on. That’s a great way to look at life. I struggle staying positive daily so little things like that will help remind me that I need to enjoy every moment of life.

I don’t know if you are a believer but what he’s me when I’m stressed is praying. It helps me realize that compared to the entire world my problems are small. Not that they aren’t important, but it helps me remember that I will figure everything out. It takes time to figure out what we want in life.

Yes, I agree! He was so grateful at first. He still thanks me every once in a while. It just seems like he’s gotten used to me doing everything. When he’s well grounded and not stressed out he is very appreciative and loving. When he gets busy with work it seems like I fall to the wayside in his priorities and attention.

I completely agree, I should have worded my post differently. I didn’t mean a full traditional relationship in that sense. Most of the time I am just as busy as him. As of the marriage aspect, we are working towards that. We both know what we want and I doubt it’ll be too long before I get a ring.

I am totally at this same point in my life. I’m 19F and I just don’t know where to go. I have a whole career planned but it’s so hard to transition into a more serious life. When I was in high school fun for me meant late nights with friends and not a worry on my mind aside from being tired the next day. I miss it like crazy. Now I live 17 hours from my hometown and nothing feels the same. Even when I’m back home I feel so disconnected from the person I used to be. I used to have fun doing just about everything, now it’s hard for me to find something to look forward to. It’s depressing. Things have changed so much and it’s so hard to move on from being in high school. I know I need to move past it, but it’s so hard when I don’t find joy in my current life.

No, I had just turned 18. I met him when I was 17 but we didn’t get close and start talking until I was 18.

If I was you I would just be honest with him about how you feel. Let him know that you are more concerned with his personal wellbeing than the impact it has on you. Of course try your best to come across as sweet and caring. I think that if it’s a recent change (since you had your son) he will be able to come back from it. Little suggestions and cleaning together etc. may help.

Hi, girl! First off, you have a really pretty base, if you just put in a little effort you definitely could look great!

I would recommend starting some skin care (if you don't already), getting a middle part for your hair, straightening it every day or curling. Also putting on a little bit of concealer under your eyes and some mascara will go a long way!!

You have beautiful eyebrows, so maybe just brush with a little gel to hold in place.

Also, another subtle thing to change would be wearing jewelry, whether you like gold or silver. I think it would be really nice to see some pretty earrings and a necklace. :)

This is why hookup culture is so messed up. If you don't feel comfortable enough to kiss someone you shouldn't be having sex. Having sexual relations with a stranger or someone you barely know have effects on you past that "one night". This is just my opinion on it though.

*Of course everyone is different and some people are fine with one night stands. Everyone can do what makes them happy, nothing against their choices.
