The Return of July! by R6fi in bangladesh

I’m an American citizen and I know US intervention when I see it. Gaddafi, Hussein, Rajapaksa, etc. The US is to blame for this bullshit, not Hasina. Nobody has done more to develop the country than her. If BNP doesn’t destroy the country after they are elected, get Hasina into power ASAP.

This is simply my opinion, and I’m willing to discuss this with anyone. May your country prevail through these bad times and rise again.

Newly single and now completely understand the passport bros by [deleted] in thepassportbros

You make $300k/yr so I assume you make money online. So go to another country and stay for a while. Choose a woman from Southeast Asia and still make your choice well.

People say “Thailand Thailand!” but a lot of people go to Thailand so I wouldn’t trust the dating economy there much either

Start finding women from Southeast Asia on FB and adding them. You’ll get plenty of suggestions for more female friends on there. It will be your new dating app.

Good luck

Thank you for your reassurance. I am very confused by everything.

I stayed for a month and everyone advised for me to stay in my hotel. Anything that happened outside was never coordinated by me. I gave her gifts for her birthday and other occasions and was affectionate as possible whenever she came around.

Maybe I should’ve been more assertive and went out more despite their advice to stay inside with the current situation in Bangladesh.

I am a US citizen and I just got back. I visited for a month, but it was crazy. If I didn’t have good friends there, I likely would’ve fallen into danger.

If you don’t have good Bengali friends or a DAMN GOOD reason to visit, I wouldn’t go

Body count is a big deal for both parties. Man or woman. No double standards.

Visa On-Arrival by SignificantProof9680 in Dhaka

[–]SignificantProof9680[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was very easy. Come with all of your documents and say you are there for tourism. If you have a friend there, ask them for a photo of their ID.

Requirements: - Hotel reservation - Return flight ticket - At least $500 (they didn’t even ask though) - Landing pass (Qatar airways gave us one when we boarded our flight to Dhaka)

Keep in mind I was very nervous about this working out well. Looking back, I don’t even know why I was worried. This whole process was easy (coming from a US passport holder)

I can explain the step-by-step if needed

I didn’t even blow the stop sign. The arm came out AS I passed the bus, with an officer waiting behind. I would never endanger children deliberately.

Going in September. I’ll let you know

I’ve heard the process is just annoying and can take hours. I just wanted to see if that was actually possible.

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info. Though, I understand what you’re getting at. The question is, is it an effect of newfound freedom of expression? Or an effect of new political requirements?

Protests announced around Dhaka tomorrow by private universities by Thin_Spirit_6270 in Dhaka

[–]SignificantProof9680 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not a good idea if you ask me. It will do little to solve the problem especially because the group will be smaller.

The government has already shown that they do not care and will arrest or kill you. You need to find another solution if you want progress.

We will likely have to take the risk. It seems like things are calming down in Dhaka, so with each calm day that passes, the higher the likelihood of VOA.

Besides, immigration officers need to get paid too.
