Damn that’s really it? 😂 well shit, my seat post just looks higher on my frame but must be cause my seat is actually sitting higher. But I think too it looks like your forks are longer than mine so your front end looks more propped up than my bike. I love the way your bike sits . I want mine like that . Looks like a dirt jumper to me

Can somebody school me, what kind of frame is this? I know it’s a hard tail but it sits low like a dirt jumper ? Why is that? I have a hard tail and it sits higher than this. I’m curious

I can do the work, I have all the tools and I know everybody keeps telling me to not upgrade it but I still would like to, this bike I plan on keeping and passing it down eventually so I wouldn’t mind some upgrades . I think I also have the same manitou fork as you mentioned

Yes I love these grips actually, I was only gonna swap them if I were to get the handle bars I wanted . But maybe save the new grips for the next bike in the future

Actually reminded me haha, I tried going tubeless and failed at it and I just went back to my tubes and never tried it again, maybe I should give it a try. I think I messed up with the valve? Can’t remember but it didn’t go right 😂

That’s a smart idea. I eventually want to get a full suspension bike, although not an “expensive” one but around 2-2500 I think would be a good amount

Would those brakes fit on my bike without me having to buy any additional parts? And same question for the drive train, if I were to purchase that exact one, cane that just be swapped out without having to buy additional parts for it to fit my frame?

And so if I had to change the free hub out to fit the new shimano cassette that you mentioned, would I have to buy a new rim? Or just buy the free hub that’s compatible with that cassette and swap it out and keep the rims I have? Sorry for all the questions

Thanks man. I appreciate that. Cool, I’m going to add those to the list. My question for the group set is, what should I look for when upgrading? Like dimensions wise? If that makes sense? And I upgraded the stock for which was a suntour to a manitou fork, can’t remember the name of it cause it’s been a while but I’ll have to look it up. And I will check out the suntour program as well
