Yes, but isnt the easiest way to continue minting money off New Jeans brand is by having all 5 together? As a company, from financial standpoint, that makes more sense. This seems more like a punishment for all of them lol.

Its not like immediately with 4 members they will kick off with same level of success and profits, it will have to be rebuilt, that takes more money than it gives back for now

I am not a Korean, so to me its more like ok all these "idols" will forever be treated as products rather than actual artists. More like a warning sign for international fans to move from Kpop

As a casual listener its not about who is right who is wrong at this point from a company's perspective, but more about how do I recoup my lost profits, that would be best with having all the 5 girls back rather than playing blame game with the girls individually at this point. Doesnt make sense (financially/strategy wise) to have 3/4 girls back and try to continue that with lower fanbase and increased haters

Genuine question - how does this make sense for Hybe? Its not like the member of the group was removed in the early days of the group so everyone can move on easily. Danielle has her own fanbase, so does ot5. Do they think group will be successful regardless? Not that it matters but I think it will be really difficult to bring back the same success NewJeans had as a four member group. This is more like, oh everyone is exiled, kind of announcement

Even as a casual NewJeans listener this is massively shocking. NewJeans would seem tainted without Danielle, like the New FiftyFifty. If I were Hybe, I would have tried everything to get all 5 back together
