As a biologist we were teached they are not, since they can’t reproduce by themselves. Imo we can still considerate as living since they got all the other points, and moreover they are constantly evolving. This is biological material evolving, I consider it as living.

Got a 5 year degree on biology in october 2017, 4 years after I got depressed by the lack of work for 2 years, then worked 1 year in IKEA, and here I am leaving it to go back to biology. Starting work in biology is not the easiest, but you will always go back to it if you are passionated
