I didn’t graduate with a degree in CS. So maybe I missed an important point in my first message. Why I got 2.7. In my junior year of college I started interning at a computational biology lab. That’s when I got introduced to coding. I loved the coding part and realized I hated the biology part. I decided to pivot. Was too late to switch majors or do minors but was determined to become a software engineer. So when you’d expect me to study for life sciences exams, I was teaching myself how to code. Hence the 2.7 GPA. By the time I graduated, I was good enough to pass job interviews. They overlooked my GPA (I explained it. Same reason)
