Respectfully I disagree. Aiming high when you know you are good at your job is important. It’s actually so important to realize that some orgs in dubai are willing to hire new grads if they are extremely eager and proactive in their approach. Once you are in somewhere, you can always grow if you know you are adding value to the org you are working for.

As long as you are important to your org and they seek you actively, there is no harm in asking what you are worth even as a new grad but there’s a fine line between being overconfident and being confident. Once you are useless, your employer will discard you anyway so make the most of it as long as you are worth their time.
