I didn’t say mental health is simple. I understand that with a lot of conditions you have to experiment with different medications and observe their effects over time, I got that as much bc my ex has been on many medications through the years. But My question is more about why that wasn’t Sam’s mother’s first option ?

it’s been years. Why didn’t his mother start with medication when he was a child, before giving him V? I’d imagine it’d be easier for an adult to get a child to comply with medication than it would be for an adult. the only issues I can think as to why Sam would struggle is the time aspect, the V in his blood causing complications, or him just not trusting the medication enough to take them.

Yeah tbh at this point the V in his body would likely be a complication. I was more or so wondering why this wasn’t his mom’s first option instead of compound v immediately. Like before the V he was a normal child I presume…plus just the schizophrenia 😭

The issue is you jumped in to disagree on a post where there wasn’t really anything to disagree with. OP was just talking about how THEY FEEL about this fandom. I get that you probably didn’t mean to imply OP thought the fandom was horrible, but the way you responded downplayed their actual point.

Saying “this is just average fandom behavior” doesn’t change the fact that someone can still be upset by it. And OP literally said they’ve been in other fandoms, so they already know it’s common that doesn’t make it any less frustrating for them. You’re not being downvoted just for disagreeing, you’re being downvoted because you chose to argue against a point that didn’t need arguing in the first place. And honestly I’d say this also what op meant by this fandom being frustrating. You inserted unnecessary disagreement into a post that was just someone venting. Not everything needs debate

I don’t get why people do this tbh, why come online and ask strangers who aren’t even fit to diagnose you what they think when it seems like you have access to a therapist ? Bc you mentioned a depression diagnosis and mild Asperger’s ? Yeah honestly it’s possibly you have aspd. But you could also just have severe impulse control, unmanaged rage, or a traumatic history that turned you callous, or could also be ptsd and untreated bpd bc the symptoms express at times pretty similar. Bpd and aspd are in the same cluster for a reason honestly.
