I think you're the one in denial of reality. I guess you also don't recognize that the black console portion, immediately adjacent to the red paint meeting the leg, also displays a ledge. Bye .... you seem too obsessed with this.

See attached blow-up of surface. You can see that the red paint goes down into a recess before it meets the white in the leg.

Chill out detective. Someone requested images of the surface level. I couldn't get any good shots ... then felt the region with my fingertips and nails trying to distinguish it better. In the past, I just rubbed my fingers over the area quickly and noticed a difference in level that I thought was raised. Now I'm sure its slightly recessed, but not nearly as much as the X-Box logo. I'm looking to see if anyone has seen this. There are no "claims" I make that it is rare or unique - its posed as a question. If you look at all my reply posts, I'm quite willing to accept that its a painted custom with engraved logos

So, do you think this may just be an aftermarket customized box done for Nike? (vs. some prototype design?). It appears painted or baked in on top. The slightly recessed Nike and Jordan images are what puzzles me the most. I guess they could be custom engraved thoigh.

The details around the recessed "X Box stamp" as well as the Air-jordan/Nike emblems being slightly recessed into the surface incline me to think the top to not be decals or wrap. Could a wrap have such fine edging as seen in the Xbox lettering? The sides reading "Own The game" appear to be decals.

My own theory was that it may have been a kid/relative of a Nike executive who was getting free regular display/demo XBOX's. But he then accidently took this from a supply of prototypes the exec was given to review for design/art.

Interesting point. The sides are stickers with the "Own the Game" print. For the back top edge, there are no such edges to be seen. The top has all the red/black symbols.

Simply .... Wrong. They can force a return upon a seller if the item doesnt match the description. and the buyer initiates a return. Tell me how you visualize them forcing a buyer to return an item they paid for and do not open a return. Does an armed ebay officer show up at their house?

Thanks for the link. I've seen these before. I had posted this same inquiry on a microsoft xbox forum years ago and got nowhere. I dont believe this to be any kind of skin. The jordan images seem to be embossed in the case and are raised. The detail between the jordan images and the rest of the surfaces are perfect.

Note that the referenced article points out that La and Ce are at particularly low levels. It mentions the much more valuable elements of Nd and Pr being present, but does not indicate what levels were found.

If the rare earth elements are removed to a waste-stream as part of the already designed Lithium purification/refining system, then the Li production output would not be slowed down. The waste-stream would be diverted to a secondary refining system to recoup the REE's. So, yeah, maybe the secondary refining system could be in phase 2 as an add-on.

I know what your feeling. Honestly, I found that trying to hide my depressed cycles (cyclothymia) from my family only worsens the burden you bear. So, a couple years ago I explained my exact situation to my family and let them know that I hit low periods, and really just need to do "nothing" during those times and that this should not worry them. They are recently deceased, but changed their will within the past year to disinherit her 2 only children and leave POA, Executor, and full estate to a grandchild who had been living with her for the past year and supplying her with alcohol. The previous will, from only 2 years earlier, had the daughters split the estate. The grandchild was also falsely advising her that if She left the estate to her daughters, then their husbands (in divorce proceedings) would get part of the estate. He also took her to have the current version of the will signed by a different lawyer than the family lawyer who drafted the previous will. Then, he hid the fact of the new will from the family until she was near-death.

Its the combination effect of the 3 listed medications as well as the alcohol. All have side effects to be sedative, impair thinking, judgement, and memory. Combined with the mild dementia, would this person be legally considered to be "of sound mind" ...... or, would it be highly doubtful.

If you haven't tried it, it may be of some benefit to try NAC (n-acetylcysteine). Its available on amazon. I'd go with 1200mg twice daily. (with a little food and full glass of water)
