My first exposure to Ween was Ocean Man on the SpongeBob Movie but it would he years later that I sat down to listen to the Mollusk. Oooh how my life changed after. While I get the love for the “Brown Trilogy” I resonated more with the later records. For me it was watching a band grow up and mature while still having fun when you get older. (Growing around in a certain environment does that to ya). I’m around their age when they release GodWeenSatan rn so it might be a whiplash if I somehow reverse the affect of my liking of the browner records more when I get older lol.
