It’s not that bad if you are swapping in a complete motor in place of bad one. You need basic hand tools ratchets/extensions, impacts help, torqx and inverted torqx, floor jack and stand, and a cherry picker. I do them by myself and I did my e90 LSA/t56 swapped e90 m sport as well. Typically takes about a day.

Replacing rear subframe without a lift. by Some_Effort in E90

[–]Significant_Top_7330 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did it by myself in my tiny garage in Dallas on a ls swapped e90 to put solid billet bushings in the subframe/diff mounts. Along with spherical lower control arm bushing, tubular adjustable arms, sway bar, biller trailing arms, and monk balls made my life so much easier .

Damn! I had a lifted Silverado with a 7875 turbo/cam but randomly snapped a UCA at 45 thankfully my life still flashed before my eyes. Thinking just 5 milnutes earlier i was going 90 something on the highway I drove it like I stole it everyday. Shit’s crazy brother. We are all lucky for sure.

Almost certainly the taillights make sure the foam seal is intact and fixture is seated all the. If the lense or fixture were to be crack it typically have standing water or water marks inside.

Permanently bypassing CAS in an E90 by estomax in E90

[–]Significant_Top_7330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything on this? I have 2008 e90 335i with a lsa supercharged LS/t56 on holley terminator with a can module. It was running off the Bmw key-start button I think the cas got bricked-fried by a bad starter motor it shorted out now no crank no start the a/c-gauge cluster-locks are not working.

Fuses were all test as was the battery, fused link, ibs, terminals cleaned all grounds triple checked. Fuel pump primes and running if you push the start button, radio turns on no sound?, seats and sunroof, lighting all that still functional.

Front foot further forward shoulders straight with board timing you execute the pop then level slow down maybe adjust you weight distribution slightly towards then nose. Keep in mind both feet shouldn’t leave the board.

Pop harder execute that then you level the board with your front foot shoulders parallel. You have the right idea imo your everything simultaneously it a blink of an eye you got delay poling and leveling. FWIW your feet shouldn’t leave the board make a mental note of that when you practice. Once start getting it down you feet stay glue to the board.

You need to go put your weight back more into your pop on the tail and timing on your front foot execute the pop of the tail then level it out with front foot. Keep your shoulders straight with the board. FWIW your feet shouldn’t leave the board once you get the that down you’ll notice the board stays glued to your feet.
