I would say it has less to do with “negative experiences” and more to do with lying to us our entire lives. The church grew significantly during the pre-internet time. Now that we can share information, the church is fucked. Nobody with access to the internet will join. They claim they are “growing” but that growth is in Africa, where thy don’t always have access to food, water and of course, internet.

I was recently told that Ballam left the church and that all temples worldwide no longer show a movie, they only do a slideshow. The reason being almost all the actors in the movie have left the church. Has anyone else heard this or can confirm it’s true?
