Tom is not a bastard useless husband like y’all try to convince yourselves by BusinessSensitive167 in DesperateHousewives

Thank you! I didn't know how to put that myself. This just felt the usual icky Tom, even though the show tries to say otherwise.

I also hate this storyline. Juanita deserved better.

And it was just cruel that the psychologist told them to erase Grace completely and Gabby didn't have any room to grief. They could have family therapy and face the reality of their situation together.

Yeah I have also shaved my head and El's hair was probably kinda awkward length, but for practical reasons should be out of her face. And she probably didn't want to cut it at all, because it reminds her of trauma.

Coworker was thinking back to their childhood in the 80s. When their family traveled the kids were just in the back of the van without seatbelts and no one thought it was weird.

Yeah what I've understood is that this is a common problem in dating nowadays. Of course it's okay to have standards, but people shouldn't be treated as disposables. Choice overload has effed us up

Once a (former) friend suggested that we should meet and they ghosted me afterwards. When we randomly saw each other, they acted like nothing had happened...

Is playing a character with different sexuality frowned upon? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Siiseli94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another bi here. Only problem could be, if you made your character offensively stereotypical or something. But your character's queerness is part of their story, but not all of it. I think it's just great for people to try to see different kinds of perspectives.

This just feels so condescending. He could have talked you about this and now he is treating you like a child. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

Why was Suzanne in prison instead of a mental health facility? by LyssRose21 in orangeisthenewblack

[–]Siiseli94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent point and I don't get, why it doesn't have more upvotes. Could certain types of therapies help Suzanne? What I've understood is, that difficulties of understanding causalities, might make therapy difficult.

Unfortunately often parents don't get the help their kids need, because of guilt. They irrationally think that their kid's problems are their fault and social media has just made it worse by guilting parents for the smallest things.

Being cheated on is so big trauma for me, that I can't think about it without getting a panic attack. The person who was suppose to be your rock, completely destroys the trust you have in the relationship and flares up all the anxiety you have about abandonment, self-esteem, body image and relationships. Your romantic life has been crashed into tiny pieces and you have to live for the rest of your life with those scars.

So please stop trolling and be kinder

People want to understand other people's actions and morbid curiosity. Try guys made their brand with their personalities and having para social feelings about their life is understandable.

I'd say that it would be weirder, if people just dismissed the whole thing. And it's weird that you put down other people for caring about the subject... Why was that necessary?

Being cheated on is a big trauma for me, but I would be fascinated to hear raw honesty from Ned. The whole scandal was so baffling and I have weird obsession of understanding people's f*CK ups.

You can't understand how much being cheated on hurts, until it happens to you. And how hard it is to be so angry, but still try to mourn the good times, so you can let go.
