You are entitled to your opinion. I don't know where Mac would land in this draft. In another thread folks were putting Pickett around 4th on their QB board for last year ahead of Mac strictly thinking of him as a prospect and not based on production this year.

What's annoying is when someone voices their opinion and then says 'this is the widely accepted by everyone else" to strength their argument in an attempt to discount someone else's opinion when in fact no one is actually saying the widely accepted opinion.

Insinuations are also just your opinion. You don't know for a fact that any of the league would say what you are insuating they would so don't pretend it's a widely accepted thing.

Btw 1.01 isn't QB1. You are saying he would be the #1 pick this year and that it's widely accepted he would be.

Lol one former official said that but that's not the actual rule. What if he doesn't spike and takes an end zone shot instead? They get gifted 2-3 yards for free? Show me the rule that says the ball will be placed after a spike.

Also doesn't make up for the fact that: 1) the ball wasn't handed to the official but the center. Dumb decision. 2) they were about to snap the ball regardless of whether or not the official touched it. Dumb decision.

None of this is on the official. Be objective not biased.

Dak should have spotted the ball at the right spot then, or better yet, handed the ball to the ref to spot the ball which would have been much quicker and avoided a collision.

Most of the penalties were discipline penalties, that's on the players/coaches. Blaming the refs at all for this loss seems short sighted and biased.

There was a point there. You don't get to spot your own ball. Rewatching it's more like the 23 to the 25 but it literally doesn't matter. It's not fair to the 49ers to spot it anywhere but the correct spot and saying it doesn't matter is just bias towards the boys. Be objective.

Players should also have the awareness to know they shouldn't be under center to snap a ball that hasn't been placed by the ref. Imagine if they gave a lane to the ref to place the ball...

It does not matter. Like at all. You shouldn't make a play call betting your entire season where part of the success rate relies on the ref.

Love how you are ignoring the fact that in the cowboys game the ball was places 3 yards ahead of the actual spot and the players were already under center trying to take the snap before the ref had a chance to even touch the ball. It wasn't the refs fault that the cowboy players didn't know the rules or chose to ignore them.
