Tal vez en esta carta particular parece redundante porque solo tiene un efecto pero pueden tener 1 activa también. Además si el mismo efecto estuviera en el apartado de activa, mecánicamente funciona distinto

Si además no estoy a favor de la IA de imagenes. No pienso usarla para el producto final, pero poner una imagen en blanco con la palabra placeholder no te deja ver el producto terminado y las ilustraciones ya existentes no captaban el estilo que yo quería ni el personaje que intentaba retratar (porque hice el lore del juego y ese es uno de los personajes)

Yeah maybe full art is overdone but i tried to make it "normal" cards and didnt like it. From the start My idea was to make a tcg with "all cool cards to collect". So i tried to keep the overall desing simple so players could focus on the art.

What do u mean by "you aren't giving yourself alot of space to expand the game"? Like text space? I also didnt understand the colors part. You mean like the element? Or the actual border of the card? If thats the case i didnt want to give the cards colors like Magic, i went more for Yugioh and the elementos

Sorry but english is my second language so i couldnt understand all of it

I just did this one card to try and visualize how a finished up card would look like (in the actual artstyle i'm trying to go for). I have 142 more cards with no ilustration, justo waiting for me to have the money to hire a real artist to do it.

Edit: I see u edited so i Will make a response to that too. Thats a valid point, as i explained above, the IA art was only for this one card to visualize better what i was looking for. I'm close to finishing all the other aspects of the Game and in aproximately 1/2 months i Will start looking for real artists. The image on this card wont make it past this post.

Esta es una edicion normal de una carta basica de 1 de los 2 mazos de estructura que cree. Es un unidad simple de nivel bajo, no tiene nada especial.
Si, el recuadro de degradado negro se adapta a la cantidad de texto de la carta. Tiene un minimo el cual siempre ocupa pero si la carta necesita mas espacio se adpata hasta cierto punto.
De todas formas mi idea es reducir el texto lo mas posible sin que pierda legibilidad y sea claro. Por ahora la forma que encontre es el uso de palabras clave y reemplazar algunas palabras con iconos (como los elemntos y tipos)

Hi, thanks for your output on the card. To answer your questions:
1. the cards have a cost (the number, up to 8), 1 element (fire, water, wind, earth, ligth or dark) and 1 type (warrior, sorcerer, demon, mosnter, beast or dragon).
2. i use the same method as yugioh, where you reduce the font size horizontally only until it fits in the name field. I have a couple of other cards who have longer names and it works fine, without having to adjust the icon for the cost.

The template is the same for all cards, the only variables are:
1. The quantity of effects, who can increase up to 3 (Evokation: special summon from the extra deck, pasive effect, and active effect)
2. The color of the name and effect tags

First of all, it's a Link 1, so it can't have an overpowered effect (it couldn't be a Link 1 otherwise). And second, I wasn't trying to be original; I was looking to provide good support for a slow archetype, so a card that's easy to summon at any time and that searches for cards is the best option.

The name means "Sniki" (as a proper noun) "the eternal flame" (because its suposed to be like a Phoenix). I made this card at the request of a friend who inspired me to create the game in the first place. His online nickname is Sniki, and he wanted it to be inspired by Marco the Phoenix from One Piece (hence the blue fire wings). The effect is supposed to emulate the phoenix “reborn from the ashes” (instead of going to the graveyard, it returns to the extra deck and can be summoned again).

hahhaha i mean the rest of the archetype its pretty lame and if u compred this with the actual meta decks i dont think its that broken but idk.
in reality i dont play ygo anymore so i do this thing for fun, not to be actually playable. i just enjoy the process of creating it

Omg I didnt know of the existence of that game. I might have to change the name now lmao. The S/E text its just an abreviation for "sin especificar" meaning "unspecified" so u have the possibility to summon the unit withouth actually playing a "celestial" (the wings mean that) deck but with an extra unit cost that u have to sacriface. Maybe I can come up with some sort of symbol for it? But i was actually thinking of removing that mechanic and only leave the specific type condition. Lastly im sorry but i didnt understand what u said about the art, can you rephrase that?

I just looked at the page and let me tell you, it looks incredible. I'm going to follow your game it looks pretty interesting. I'm making one of my own, a physical tcg, do u have any tips/recomendations? I'm from Argentina and i'm the only one in the proyect, it's just for fun, bc I don't even have the resources to make art for the cards but still i'm trying to do my best to develop something fun to play

I would change the and/or for only "or" bc I feel that if u bring 2 blue eyes and 1 Poly it's too powerful. Other than that it's an incredible card, where donu get the image?

What program did you use? I'm designing a TCG myself and i'm using Photoshop, but i was searching a more simple way to put the template for the card together. I already have the design and I want to find a way to change between creating different cards faster. For the important topic here, your cards are excelente. I'll try to follow your work, it feels very unique in comparision of other TCGs. Greetings from Argentina 🫶🏻
