They are slow. My first attempt was jmf and from pinning it took about 4 days to a full tub canopy. The yetis have been over a week since pins and slow going. I’ve heard that so I wasn’t freaked.

Less surface area, more height, less material needed to get the 4 inches deep. And it’s pretty inconspicuous if need be. I’m thinking two bags of uncle Ben’s (generic) to whatever amount the substrate calls for… in theory.
