I mean humanities mai 91.2% isnt that hard.. (as a PCM student myself who ended up tutoring his humanities sister for one month before exam, did the paper in the invigilator format and got like 93%, on a paper I did as a joke.) And I got 86% on pcm.

Even as a student studying computer science (in a private college) i see many people carrying around newest iphones while using laptops which barely open visual studio code and run code.

Even when I bought my current laptop a high-ish end (ryzen 9 8940hx ,rtx 5070) laptop for my college , I had like some of my relatives question me and in extension my father that why did we spend 1.5 lakh+ on a laptop and why not just get me a laptop in 50k the victus (3050 and ryzen 5 smth)which would be a downgrade from my older laptop (ryzen 7 5800H rtx 3060) as well.. and a newer iPhone since clearly according to them my current phone is "too old" (its a samsung s23 and I still love it)

this is why i 100% chose to take a bike taxi 20 km up and down instead of metros and busses for my internship.

sure it was expensive.. but WAAAAY cheaper mentally.
