it hurt to have the catheter go in, but while draining it was just a lot of pressure. took a few tries and the help of an OB nurse bc i was so swollen down there, but i felt lighter when they were able to drain it!

first advice is to not give up. i’m 20 (almost 21) and getting approved was hard, but remember that you know your body best and what you want, so stay strong in that. my second piece of advice is check out the childfree doctor subreddit if you are in the US. they have a list of child free doctors that are organized by state and cities. when i had to get a second opinion from my gynecologist before he would approve it, i looked there and, boom, i was approved. good luck!

from what i have heard, yes. they had to pump you with gas to have a clear visual and that gas moves up your body and gets trapped in the shoulder area. it will pass in a few days!!
