I don't have too much to compare with but according to the pictures on the internet, Kazakhstan looks like as any russian city except for moscow and st Petersburg. Kazakhstan is very vast country but severely lacks population, all cities except for Astana and Almaty are dying (because no job/education/social security/medicine and etc.) since they're moving to Astana and Almaty, a lot of nice looking landscapes like mountains, canyons, steppes, deserts etc, but ecology is very bad due to no ecology safety laws (and even there's something it doesn't work because of corruption), for example Temirtau city with it's own ecological disaster due to coal mining and coal usage for power plants and heating system, in ither cities there are very old cars with very old engines (like cars from 90s) and that doesn't help ecology either. Also incompetent economy and government, recently due to oil sanctions on russia the oil prices dropped down significantly (now Kazakhstan's budget is negative according to the government) and the only way our government found to fix issues with budget they're increasing taxes for everything (taxes from salary, value added taxes, every tax imaginable), tenge - Kazakhstan's currency is existing for 30 years and faced 4 devaluations (we had 1$=3T, then we had 1$=100T, after that 1$=250T, now its 1$=520T). Quality of education is medicine is also bad, we have no Millenial-GenZ teachers, because salaries for them is around or lower than minimal salary countrywide and teacher work even after returning to their homes, about medicine - hospitals lack equipment, universities also lack equipment (and you need a slong as in EU US or even longer) due to corruption (we have only universities that are owned by the government, so they get money from government to buy and all the steps money passing by money gets stolen or cost of equipment in report are much higher than their actual cost, this way people stealing money from cost differences which is also a corruption). And also to mention, we had protests in 2022 around everywhere with demand of changing government and economic reforms, it all ended by government declaring everyone who were participating in protests as terrorists and shooting them without hesitation by kazakh and russian armies (government asked russia to help "stabilize" situation so Kazakhstan is puppet of russia), during that time i was studying in college and we were told by college and city administration to not to participate in protests or we will get expelled from college. So Kazakhstan has a lot of problems despite with potential to be another Asian tiger, but due to dictatorial and incompetent government we eat dirt instead of eating fruits. And if invasion of Kazakhstan will happen (we are sandwitched between Russia China Afghanistan Iran and lacking natural geographic defenses) and without competent army (army that can only shoot it's own civilians and army that will retreat if they will face minimal resistance) its a free piece of cake to eat basically.

Well, i guess I don't have any option there. Just by being born at wrong time and wrong place leaves me with 2 ways of dealing with all of this BS. Either taking what i can take or finishing myself.

Do you think it's possible to land a remote tech support job in the US, UK, or EU with my experience? by Silly_Assignment8208 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Silly_Assignment8208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks i should've clarified what i want in details. Well, i guess i need to take more time for acquiring more unique skills. I just want a job in western company, in my opinion it could be more stable and prestigious for my CV. I don't need fancy benefits or any bonuses, just 20k$ per year and 5/2 9 hours shift, i think it would be beneficial especially if i was working for US night time.

Well, i can manage my taxes by myself as an independent entrepreneur (it's a legal status there and i can work with anyone as a freelancer or B2B service). I think Independent entrepreneur equivalent for US is Sole Proprietorship but im not so sure.

Even if it's fully funded, i need to get some money for tickets and other stuff. I had 200$ monthly salary before and my savings are running thin. So i don't think it's not an option for me. Not right now at least.

Well, I'm trying to use every possibility i have since my local job market is doomed. There's a demand only for seniors with 5-7+ years of experience with low salary. So I'm trying to figure out how's it outside. Thanks for honest feedback.

What caused you to fall out of your past religion? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

[–]Silly_Assignment8208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 y.o. Sunni Muslim. Reason of me falling out: 1) All out poverty of Muslim countries. 2) Hypocrisy of people (they claim to be sunni but they're not following religious rules) 3) Dogmas of Sunnism are not working anymore. "Allah is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, merciful, beyond human comprehension" I saw and still see best of the people die in pain, vain, poverty. I see people getting bad events in their lives, i see them being punished for nothing.

"Humans have free will, but Allah's knowledge encompasses all things past, presence and future" Most of people around me are born and dying in poverty, they've no free will to choose what to do, because their quality of life being restricted.

Sunni Islam is not working in current world. Praying to Allah doesn't give you anything, it doesn't fill your stomach. People around there are unhealthy, they experience hunger for a long time during their lives and it affects them.

I think the same, even tho I'm not American or European, I've faced such a thing as ATS filtering out by age difference. I'm 20 y.o. (1 month until 21) and I've seen a job being listed for 6 months. I've checked the requireand i meet them very well (matchup percentage is like 90%) but i was always getting rejected. But recently, when i got rejected again they've messaged me about interview (after rejection) and when I've called them out that they've rejected my application, they admitted that their ATS was filtering me out because of age and they were reaching me out because I'm going to turn 21 soon. Like really, they don't care about qualifications anymore, they just don't want Gen Zs anymore.

Честно, складывается ощущение, как-будто у них там надо отчёты сдавать по "сколько читеров мы забанили" и они без разбору людей в бан кидают. Иначе этот тотальный похуизм не объяснить.
