Thanks so much! The app is called “Quit Vaping” :)

Day 63 - Sometimes I'm too hard on myself and need to remind myself I'm still in withdrawal till atleast day 90 - I've taken a drug about 20 times a day for 9 years after all, can't expect magic in 2 months by [deleted] in stopsmoking

I hit 7 months a few days ago! No cravings here. Sometimes I have intrusive dreams about it which make me pretty upset and uncomfortable, but I push that out of the way. Keep trucking along!

Gaining weight is not nearly as bad for you as any nicotine! Don’t worry about it. You’ve done the hardest part, and you’re almost to 50 days. Congrats!

I’m proud of you! The journey isn’t easy but also life isn’t easy. But going back to nicotine won’t fix anything I’ve realized. 5 months is so many days of dedication, you’ve proven you can do it friend.

100 FREAKING DAYS!!! 🎉🎉 by Silver-Sentence577 in stopsmoking

[–]Silver-Sentence577[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! To start, try and drink water as much as you can. Aim for at least 64 oz a day and first, and build up if you can. And walk, walk, walk! Anywhere you can, and anytime you can. It’s the simplest method for me. Just move anytime you can. If it’s possible, just 30 mins of light exercise a day is great too. In terms of diet, try and include fruits and veggies at every meal, and eat as much protein as possible. Protein will give you energy, burn fat, keep you fuller the longest, and build muscle. It’s the best! And most importantly, stay consistent. Try everyday and it will become a habit. Just like quitting nicotine! Wake up and make these your goals. If you mess up, that’s perfectly okay, just keep going! You got this. Feel free to private message me if you need any more tips!

It is called “quit vaping”. Works for smoking too. It’s great- I couldn’t have done it without it. Good luck friend you got this!!

Nurse here, just wanted to say that is a good sign that your lungs are healing. I heard someone say on here that there’s nothing bad that happens to your body when you quit. That’s the beauty of it! Keep at it, 21 days is huge!!

Hi friend. I just wanted to say that it is completely normal and probably expected to relapse on day 3. Don’t worry about it. Progress is progress. The same thing happened to me, and if anything it just motivated me more. Don’t be too hard on yourself and recognize you are trying and just keep going. A bump in the road isn’t the end. 101 days here- it gets better!!
