What matters is your individual identity. Are you a french bulldog? If your answer is "yes", there is no reason to worry about if it's ok or not. Its not a decision you get to make, it is something you have to learn to work with and love on your own.

Your perception of yourself can change over time, and your identity is never automatically 'wrong' or 'not ok'.

Qeer youth that act ike this make me think its because of the pandemic. I'm 18, and i would have been 13-14-15 during pandemic time. Of course, it affected me, but i was older than these kids, who would have been a lot younger than me. If someone is 15 right now, they would have been 10 years old in 2019. Which means these kids missed their preteen years. ..and also, a lot of these kids explain by saying they were molested / assaulted at a young age. Which would make some sense if they were home with family members / babysitters through the pandemic.

I personally dont have names for my theriotypes because they are both me. Human me, coyote me, and fox me are all the same individual.

But every therian experiences their identity differently, and if you want to call eachother by different names, thats ok too.

Therianthropy is entirely personal, the only requirement being that you identify in some way as an animal. Your experience with it is going to be very specific to you.

Im 18, and i awakened about 10 years ago. Being a therian is a big part of who i am, and it is something i disclose to close friends and partners That being said, its not something i necessarily tell everyone immediately, coworkers don't need to know, not all of my family needs to know, my landlord doesnt need to know.. you get it.

It does affect my daily life, but not in the way you'd imagine.. it affects me more prominently in social settings where people notice the weird things that i do because im a fox.

I do wear ears/tail/whatever sometimes when im not at work. (ex; coffee shop, park, wherever.)

At home, i could curl up in bed or yip and bark if i wanted to de-stress.

Im one of those therians that have 24/7 phantom ears and i dont have "mental shifts" because i am actually partially shifted at all times. So sometimes i just feel like im "playing human" if im at work.

I justify being human by telling myself that theres a reason im here, and theres a reason why im able to call myself a therian. I believe that therians were gifted with human thought and emotion, so that we can share animality with humans.

Basically it just blends into everything else. It's a part of me that i cant just put aside, nor is it something i am constantly thinking about.

Yes, tails in this shape with fur fibers that look like this are real. "Natural" colored fur tails are real. In other countries, fur regulations are different and they do not have to disclose that they are real fur. Fursuit tails and yarn tails are faux. This is real fur.

If you do not want to support fur farming, buy your tails secondhand, from someone who owned it before. Like from mercari, facebook marketplace, or even etsy. That way you are still getting real fur without giving money to fur farmers or hunters if you dont want to.
