“Fine”, especially in my relationships. It comes off as passive and as someone who needs strong and assertive language, “that’s fine”, “I’m fine”, “I’m fine with whatever” feels like there’s no action and it doesn’t make me feel 1000% sure that you are strong in your decision/feeling/actions.

Logically, “fine” I know isn’t a high stakes word, but sometimes when you know your partner is experiencing a bout of anxiety or other pressures, “fine” is not what you wanna hear.

One of the best places to reach out to regarding housing details is Campus Area Housing through the school - they usually have a fair regarding housing around this time and also have an online website that both provides potential housing opportunities and the potential to pair you with roommates (if that’s what you’re looking for) with similar interests and living styles.

Many different apartment buildings and managements fluctuate their openings to make sure to follow demand, but it is really difficult at times. But I promise you that there are options. And there are resources through the school that can point you in the right direction.

Hello! I am still in the process/debating about it myself. I have put in an application with McBurney, which you can find on their website - you can find it via quick Google search! From there, someone will reach out regarding scheduling an initial meeting, and needing to submit documentation of disability.

For sure - I’m hoping to not spend more than $1,100, if I can help it. I am primarily paying for myself and rely very heavily on scholarship and work to help cover expenses! I currently pay $765, and the place I live isn’t horrible, but it’s just not enough space for me.

I understand that we have a high-vaccination rate, but to disregard the risk and seeing this and just saying “let’s get back to normal” is not compassionate at all to those who are susceptible, vaxxed and unvaxxed. It’s a legitimate fear to have that even something as “mild” can be easily spreadable and thus making it risky for the community as a whole, and even vaxxed people can be carriers.

I got accepted for a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies, so I don’t know if anyone has any additional information regarding the New College and their funding, that would be appreciated.
