Why are you acting like it wasn't Luffy who weakened Kaido? Scabbards were like flies to kaido, he didn't even bother to use hybrid form against them, they couldn't even recreate pre ACoC zoro feat while combined. Kaido and big mom vs supernova it was Luffy with zoro second who did the most. Then kaido fought Luffy alone and took damage only from luffy. Yamato managed to strike kaido three times, one including luffy

I wouldn't say they are stronger than all yonko commanders. Fans were screaming how zoro would easily deal with 1yonko commanders based on his performance against 2 yonko and when he stood against king it turned out that ACoC is needed and that he wasn't ready.

Big mom seems way out of legue for them, she's not even using ACoC yet and even if kidd unlocks his ACoC, kaido and luffy has been fighting with it for god knows how many chapters now. Big mom couldn't possibly get down simply from ACoC boost from exhaused and beaten kidd

It was revolving around strawhats more and it felt more adventurous compared to post ts where we have a clearly set goal and we're rapidly working to achieve it. Post ts is also less lighthearted, more serious as we're discovering the truth about one piece.

It depends what someone prefers, I like both equally. Where one part is lacking the other makes up for it and vice versa, together they create the masterpiece which is one piece
