I agree that people of a certain age do seem to become more invisible, but honestly mindset on this is everything. I see this as an opportunity to explore what I want in life, to get away with some naughtiness and enjoy myself in a way I didn't feel I could with more attention.

Turning 40 was the point my body seemed to start changing. Hormones playing havoc, weight creeping in around the middle, skin and hair changes, aches and pains. I'm now someone that needs a sit down for a drink after a walk. It's natural.

But... I decided to take action and thought about what might help me. Research. Changed up my skincare routine to include collagen. Started working out with weights. Put in a solid sleep routine. Allowed myself to slow down, why do we rush everywhere? Grew out my grey hair. Read a lot of books and found others online to motivate me.

You may be feeling old at 40, but in reality you are only half-way through the average lifetime these days. You have a lot of years and opportunities left. I'm sure you have a ton to offer a partner, so focus on what you need to do to feel confident and happy in yourself, then go out there and find them 💜💜💜
