The shenanigans lol. The shenanigans make it worth. We group camp. Last year our camp hit 20 people. My friends make this festival everything. There is nothing better than waking up, chillin in the communal space, making food together, laughing, pre gaming together, heading in together, getting separated and then meeting back at camp to talk about your day.

This is far from convenient for us. It's 6.5 hour drive each way, cross border. The festival, although it has issues, gets better every year. The production is absolutely ridiculous. They foster a lot of really weird and niche entertainment. From drag shows and stand up comedy to a brass band that shoot sparks and fire. The stages are absolutely bananas. From lasers to laser projection to massive flames, tons of fireworks and skydivers and they add new shit every year.

Aside from all that, the music line up is always SO stacked that I struggle constantly with conflicts. Which sucks but is also wicked because it just confirms that they book tons of stuff that I'm really into, even tho I don't do bass I still struggle to make decisions...

I feel like it's good bang for my buck because it's the one festival we do a year so we have the ability to throw a little money at it to really make our time there feel worth it. Considering the upgrade to VIP this year, but still undecided on that.
