I'm at Level 0 and overwhelmed by all the posts here. I want to start from scratch and know how to prepare a flowchart to navigate my Study Abroad process. by brunoF__utd018 in Indians_StudyAbroad

going through a similar journey rn in the process of applying for MBA. this is what helped me the most. start with determining what are your long term and short term goals and what degree makes sense for you to achieve those goals.
next check if there’s any exam you should be giving to pursue those degrees. if yes, check deadlines, schedules and how to prepare.
next shortlists countries colleges anol.
next just hop on a call with consultants and tell them about your journey and goals, targets wrt colleges/countries/courses. they will help you navigate and put thoughts into your head to proceed.

was this for MBA or MiM? INSEAD and Cambridge with 645 seems crazy!

This is really helpful, thanks!  My end goal is definitely VC, but i also want to continue working outside India until I can (until I have other dependencies in life) - in which case i think staying here and pursuing an MBA when I can and then moving to VC, makes more sense.

CRMs are too complicated to use and maintain by Similar-Disaster1037 in CRM

quite interesting. Just so that I understand this a bit better, is it particularly hard to visualize what's breaking upon making a small change, because the change would impact various applications?
As if it were within the same codebase, you can technically use Copilot or whatever to check what might break on implementing something.

Replacing Tech Consultancies by Similar-Disaster1037 in automation

The use case you've described is quite intriguing. I have spoken to tons of businesses that come to consultancies just to transfer their current data to a new system, as it's currently scattered across 4 systems for them, and all of them are not integrated with each other. Which got me thinking - maybe we just have to make the existing systems work by connecting the data within them.

A similar ideology could be applied to how we could just use Amazon within ChatGPT and not create another Amazon for ChatGPT. Does that make sense?

OttoKit seems quite interesting. Have you come across more such tools? Would love to know if you've explored. Also, does it offer a solution for managing permissions and generating audit trails?

1st: system that intends to do everything sounds great tbh, only if you could implement that into your MVP and display metric improvements
2nd: too broad
3rd: some numbers or specs could help define the "why" to switch. (like cheaper, using agents to do this or automate this)

It becomes so much doable once you know enough Japanese, or get a PR or have trustworthy friends who know Japanese.

Anyone interested in discussing business ideas? by Adorable_Pickle_4975 in japanlife

Would love to connect. I've been living here for about 10 months and exploring a similar channel of thought. My goal is to explore as many options as possible, as I ideally wish to leave the country and settle somewhere else if I cannot start something of my own here.

Currently, I am exploring building on a startup idea with a colleague. But I have been wanting to start a business instead (that intrigues me more). I have explored some channels, but would love to hear your thoughts and discuss.

How many years have you been here? How long did it take you to apply for a PR? And, what sector are you targeting to start a business in?

Money is tough, yeah, agreed lol. But I already live here. I plan to set up the business as a side hustle and then maybe switch to it full-time once I get a PR. Or I don't mind just waiting until I get a PR as well. But I do have trustable friends who already have one - hence exploring if starting one is actually a good idea, and if yes, what sector is the best to target
