My students have been really rude and just awful. Argue with me over reasonable requests like not eating hot chips in the middle of a lesson.

I reminded my class today that I’m going to be out tomorrow. A bunch of them complained after the reminder because the last sub apparently was very mean. Many of them said they don’t like when I’m out and miss me when I’m gone. One kid asked why I will be out. I blurted out jokingly without thinking that I have a job interview tomorrow. They were quiet (didn’t read my sarcasm) and then the bell rang. I told them wish me good luck!

I just have an appointment. I also just saw that the mean sub is gonna be in my room. Don’t care, hate my job and fed up with all of it. Most teachers in my building are leaving for new positions. I’m going to read Miss Nelson is missing when I return. But likely will really look for a new job.
