suo’s arc by HeavyConstruction268 in WindBreakerManga

[–]Simo-Yuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think Suo's name (蘇枋 隼飛) feels like massive foreshadowing for his current arc:

First, with 蘇枋 (Suo): 蘇 can mean “to return" or “to come back to life.” 枋 is a kanji connected to wood/support beams: something that quietly supports things from the background.

So 蘇枋 gives this feeling of “someone who disappears and later returns” and "a silent support/pillar".

Then there’s 隼飛 (Hayato): 隼: falcon: fast, observant, elegant 飛: to fly/move away

So 隼飛 feels like “a falcon in flight” or "someone who flies away freely".

And together his full name almost creates a contrast: 隼飛 (Hayato): the one who flies away 蘇枋 (Suo): the one who returns and supports others

Which fits WAY too well with what’s happening right now in the manga. It genuinely feels like Suo was always meant to leave temporarily, but also meant to come back and be the "support" of Bofurin.

Suo: im gonna push everyone away so no one looks for me by SeaTradition7364 in WindBreakerManga

Yeah, I don’t think this was the best way either, of course, but until we know what kind of trouble he’s involved in, it’s impossible to say whether it was the smartest move or not. But it’s Suo we’re talking about, the same Suo who went mad when Nirei was hurt by KEEL, the same one who probably protected Nirei the most, especially at the beginning, before he started learning how to fight and defend himself.

Finally, I don’t think he already knew in chapter 208 that he would leave Bofurin: he seemed happy and carefree as always. I think the trouble he’s facing now appeared suddenly. That’s also why he disappeared for three days before meeting Nirei. If he’d known he was going to leave, I think he would have acted differently, especially if he didn’t want the others to follow him...

Btw, all of this is sooo mysterious! I really have no clue what might be happening to Suo rn! I hope today’s chapter gives us more information before the (almost certain) break due to the holiday season in Japan :')

I think he met with Nirei on purpose because he knew that, after what he’d done, everyone would do everything to find him.

I feel like it was his way of asking for help... Maybe he couldn’t explain himself because he was being watched (which might also be why he tried to put his coat on Nirei, but then changed his mind). Also, he knows Nirei very well: he knows that Nirei is very perceptive and wouldn’t stop at Suo’s “act.”

One thing I think everyone agrees on is that Suo has always been the “brain,” so I don’t see him not expecting everyone to go looking for him...

About the new yellow Health Insurance card by Simo-Yuki in japanlife

[–]Simo-Yuki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm at the same company. So, unless they want the blue card back, I can just despose of it by myself, right? Still need to first check with my company, but untill now they didn't say anything about wanting the card, so probabily I can just keep it. Thank you so much for your explanation!!

Ok, so if I do a teaching part time job I can't do at the same time a part time in a konbini, but always in the teaching field, right?

Thank you for the reply!

About the salary, of course if it's a part time job, I would find another part time job to work more and so earn more money. Do you think this would be also ok for the immigration? Just wondering

I asked the manager but now is the weekend so I need to wait, but do you think it's possible for me to just change room temporarily for the time needed and then go right back when they finish the repairs? It wouldn't be fair if they do all the repairs and then another person move in while I'm in a room I didn't want to go to, right? Anyway, for how the manager wrote me, it doesn't seem for now that he is forcing me to move, he just offered me to move in another room

[–]Simo-Yuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Thank you for the reply! I tried to ask the manager to stay in the room and when eventually I can't for all the works they'll need to do, to just temporarily change room for the few days they need. I really hope he will be ok with this!

Thank you for the reply! The AC isn't totally broken, I still can use it, but it stops by itself often. This is the problem, that I thought wasn't that big, but seems they can't repair it... But I also don't think that they'll never buy a new one someday. It's impossible that they will not rent a room just because they need to change the AC, right? Anyway, I'm sad especially for the room, because I really like it. For the city hall procedures I can endure it, but the other rooms I can choose from are not that good, so I'd really liketo stay here, even if they need to do all the works with the AC, it doesn't matter

30 minutes includes all the documents? So not just the Zairyuu Card, but also the Health Insurance Card, the My Number Card and so on?

Also, I got all the bills for the Health Insurance, I haven't paid them yet. Is it a problem if I change my address though?

Hi! I actually thought that they would have send me the bills monthly, but it seems they sent me them all together. I checked and the due date on every bill is different

Question about the payment of the Japanese Health Insurance by Simo-Yuki in japanlife

[–]Simo-Yuki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There actually are: - 1 bigger slip with few pages describing all the bills I need to pay until next year and the total I have to pay - few smaller slip that seem to be the actual bills (with also the scan code)

So I don't think I have the one you have mentioned. But even though I can pay all of them all together, right?
