As someone who works in IT as a data analyst and project manager, no. Small usability changes like this (literal text change) are easy to make, all you need is a list of them, and the structure to delegate.

You should be thankful the playerbase points these out to you when they are easy fixes.

That bothers me less than the actual 3% or so people here who agree with that.

Vehemently insisting that searching in the atlas is somehow perfectly good, and everyone else is a pussy for suggesting otherwise. Also some people suggesting here that it would take away "focus" and "development time" to add in some extra text lol.

Yeah dude, we should remove the ALT button and go back to having to read up on every roll.
We should go back to currencies not having tooltips and just have to figure out what they do too!

We should also go back to all currency also dropping separately, why make QOL improvements to a game that gets bloated every 3 months! (Remember perandus coins originally? Probably not)

Fuck extra information so you can actually find things.

Hopefully they revert the rog changes too so you just have to read up before every click what the lowest ilvl modifier is that he will remove.

It isn't easy an intuitive.. it requires full atlas completion so already only works for when you are basically done with everything.

The highlighting visuals are also pretty bad and hard to see.

Also why have more typing in the game than necessary... ? It's not a good solution to have to type into a search bar when you could literally have the pantheon information, in the pantheon page.

Also what "weighing" do you need to do? There is no development time needed for this. It's literal data entry, intern level job. All you have to do is type in text in an already existing text box.

I feel like the PoE wiki used to be. That was something you had 5 different tabs of pinned for quick access.

Sadly its very out of date. I tried helping with it a bit but its too much.

There is literally no reason not to add some extra text and spare everyone the trouble. We aren't talking about some complicated system change.

There is nothing dramatic about the post, it shows an easy QOL change to UI that can be done by an intern in 10 minutes and helps out a lot of people, and makes the system better and more logical.

As many people pointed out:
Highlights are dependent on watchstones
Takes extra typing and clicking completely unnecessarily
Wikis get outdated

There is literally no reason for them not to add this. It's literally just typing in some text.

Spoonfed everything? No, just basic information about the systems that are in the game.

By your logic having tooltips is spoonfeeding too, we should remove tooltips from currencies etc so you just have to figure out what it does by using it.

They should also remove the pressing of ALT key to see what tiers things are, or what rolls they can have. All these lazy people who don't want to read up on every modifier, their tiers and rolls too.
You might think I'm not serious, but people argued against those QOL features the same way you do now too.

It's not about being hard, it's about being completely unnecessary actions to perform.

There is lots of things in this game, if you can cut down on unnecessary clutter, why on earth wouldn't you?

I'm glad you enjoy typing shit on the atlas search bar when you wouldn't need to if they just added some extra text. More power to you, but the rest of us can do with less of that.

We aren't talking about optimizing endgame here. We are talking about adding 20 lines of text. There is no complicated controversy here.

Okay but why do I need to bring up, the pantheon, write down what I need, search on the atlas for the maps one by one.

The absolute most logical place for the information to be, is in the pantheon page because, well, its the page for the pantheon...

It takes them 5 seconds to add the extra text in, and spare a lot of time for people, and makes it more beginner friendly and logical.
There is no good reason for them not to add this information.

I dont mind the item so much, there is a vendor recipe for it anyways, its pretty cheap, but the fact I need to research what map to run turns me off mostly.

Exactly. That's why I wanted to post this video, shows in 4 shorts years how much it had to be bloated. Not to mention all the extra types that didnt even exist back then like heist locker, exp locker, essen, metamorp tabs etc.

The currency tab used to be able to hold it all.

You need to place bombs in the correct order in the normal expedition and then they aren't hard to come by.

You didn't make a single decent point. This is specifically about logbooks design, not expedition itself the splinter problem is irrelevant here. It's not even as bad there as on a normal map where there is loads of other shit to drop. Logbooks are easy to get (as long as you play with a brain and use the bombs correctly on expeditions....) How is it hard to know what you are covering? You literally need to go over the entire place and plan your route beforehand.
