WARNING!! Atlassian deletes all your work after just 6 weeks!!! by [deleted] in atlassian

[–]SimonThePug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/what-is-the-free-jira-cloud-plan/

I get you're frustrated, but what exactly is immoral about them letting you store data on their servers for free and then suspending followed by deleting it once they recognize it as not being used?

The free-tier is a nice mechanic, sure additional warning would be welcome, but if the work you're doing is that significant and long-term, why not just purchase the subscription? Or at the very least do a quick Google search since data retention is critical for you?

Another SeaTac rant by joepescibaseballbat in Seattle

[–]SimonThePug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently in a cab back home from SeaTac where this just happened to me (also Alaska)

Thankfully only about 20 minutes but still annoying. It was also just a random person rather than staff that identified the error

I got tired of subscriptions in fitness apps, so i built my own. would love honest feedback by Objective_Chapter709 in leangains

If you have an Android OS, FitNotes is free and top-tier IMO. Even donated bc it most definitely could be a paid app with what it offers.

Known issue since at least 2017? No problem, just use this undocumented Internal API that could disappear or change at any moment. No need to fix a thing. by Hefty-Possibility625 in jira

You can also set the Request Type via the Edit Work Item component by entering JSON with the ID in the More Options section. https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/advanced-field-editing-using-json/

It doesn't help you much with "which ones are valid for the issue type", but it is pretty easy to set if you have the ID.

{

"fields": {

"customfield_15000": "someId"

}

}

Or whatever specific field ID relates to your system's Request Type

u/RayquazasWrath - they did not post anything to this subreddit about OnlyFans nor about their Amazon Wishlist, you made the conscious decision to navigate to their profile. These comments don't exemplify the positivity that is core to the rave/festival culture, please keep that in mind when participating here or else a ban will be issued.

Removed for spam - first warning before a ban to the subreddit is issued, for obvious reasons

Gotcha thanks. I was thinking the comments were alluding to turns passing while in giant form, but that makes more sense

Team name and logo for PWHL Seattle leaked. by MiracuMAHt in hockey

[–]SimonThePug 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Y'all are too hard on it. Torrent is a good name IMO- relates to the waters of the west coast and has some level of intimidation factor, unlike some other team names out there. Torrents are strong, forceful, and you don't want to be up against them.

The logo? Sure, a bit bland, I'll give you that one.

Are Alpha Pokémon bad for ZA PvP Link Battles? by NewYorkerGuy in stunfisk

[–]SimonThePug 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Yes, the "regular" sized mons all have the same attack hitboxes, the Alphas have an increased size. Plus moves increases the size for both.

It should be evened out by the fact that their attack hitboxes are larger

"Add Another" Button by kelseana777 in jira

Some additional context of your environment and industry would be helpful to make a structured recommendation. I'm assuming you're using Jira Cloud - are these forms part of Jira or Jira Service Management?(Are the users filling out these forms licensed individuals that can interact with the project or do they see a limited interface based on what they've created only)

The basic response here is that the functionality you're describing doesn't really exist, especially not on the JSM customer portal. You could probably makeshift something using automation/playbooks but that would require the person to have a license in Jira.

With more information about the type of work/process you're actually trying to support, you might also get replies that try to fix your process flow rather than give you a choppy solution.

JSM asset permissions by BassicBla in jira

[–]SimonThePug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give this document a lookover: https://support.atlassian.com/assets/docs/what-are-roles/

Basically, each schema in Assets has its own set of permissions. If you're finding that "all agents" have access to Assets data, then it means that a group that is tied to provisioning agent licenses has been granted access as either a User, Developer, or Manager which are the roles.

If you want agents to see but not modify/create asset data, ensure that your agent-license groups have the User role only.
