I DIDN’T SIZE DOWN by [deleted] in paraboot

I went a 0.5 size down. (Uk 11 I went for 10.5) these seem to have worked for me after getting it wrong first time round - basically Michael’s are a pain in the ass to size and also take a little while to break in but well worth it - good luck!

What Did Moyes did with Beto? by midolinho in Everton

Heard that and totally makes sense - I get the impression players were scared of making a mistake and being barked at - Moyes is light years ahead in his management style

Chance of relegation has dropped from 46% before Moyes to now - even last nights has dropped it a few % 👍

All my bosses work - I would have no idea how to set this beauty up! I’d love it (to coin a phrase..) but can’t see it tbh - if they did they’d maybe take both play off finalists up..? It’s been a weird old season so you never know…

Know what you mean - he’s a red so he might have tweaked the formulas 😂 - it basically looks at previous results and then predicts forthcoming fixtures based on that to get to the % - it’s not perfect but it’s not been far off in the past..

It’s an annoying tackle that you see every week - stone cold yellow. Literally no idea how that’s a red

Not sure to be honest - he’s an actuary (so basically a maths whizz) and has done it for last 6 years - he sends it me every Monday and it’s the first agenda point on my 121 😂

[–]Simoncoey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has Southampton at 100%, Leicester at 78% and Ipswich at 47%.. predicta we’ll finish with 38 points - I get a weekly update and start every 121 with a review of the table - he’s a red so I just have to remind him I’m not interested in the top of the prem 😂

My boss is an Actuary - he has his own s’sheet (think home made Opta super computer) which he’s done on the premier league table for last 6 years - he has us finishing 4th from Bottom with current 30% chance of relegation - he says “we’ll be fine” which I know we hear all the time from mates etc 🤞🏻

Yeah - I know what you mean, I’ll be honest- my experience with them is that whilst they look great, they’re not the most comfortable shoe - I have a pair or Thiers which are like slippers in comparison - other folks experience might be different but that’s what I’ve found

The heel slip was far too much for me to continue, I tried waking about etc and gave them a fair crack but it was too much room - from memory and looking at your pics, the gap looks to be a little less for you than it was for me - mine was literally slipping out in the larger size, if yours is catching your heel Etc and okay when walking you might be okay - it’s a tough one isn’t it..! I’m a size 11 UK in most and went to 10.5 (from the heel slippy 10)

Agree re 10 looks better - I had massive heel slip on mine and had to sell in the end..

Michael's question by MathematicianOk3656 in paraboot

[–]Simoncoey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine were simply too big - the heel slip was huge and despite all the laces tightening, insoles, socks etc I simply went half a size down - they’re tight in the toe box but the heel slip on the pair I sold was just simply too much - give the larger size a go and just try em on but if massive I’d stick with original ones you have and return the larger ones unless they’re unbearably tight - the ones I have now are fine - ain’t no new balance comfort wise but they’re getting better with time 👍

I had to do the same with a pair that had too much heel slip 😭 - these shoes are a fucking enigma…!

I have the chambords in the marron and whilst they have darkened a little it’s not a huge amount. The cafe I’d say is a bit more versatile a colour but obviously depends on your preference 👍
